Cogito + Google
AI for your email and calendar, scoped to you.
Connect your Google account once and Cogito can read your Gmail, calendar, and contacts in private contexts. Drafts, scheduling, and digests happen with the same context you have - never with anyone else's.

Built deep, not via MCP
Cogito's Google integration is a first-class API connection with the depth, reliability, and permission inheritance most AI tools cannot match.
First-class Gmail and Google Calendar API integration, including threading and label awareness
Native Google Contacts directory lookup, including company-domain matching
Per-user OAuth means no shared inbox visibility, ever
Outlook also supported as an equivalent integration for Microsoft shops
Personal, organizational, or both
Cogito's Google integration ships with the connection model that fits your team. The layering story is the differentiator.
Personal mode
Per-user connection. Private contexts only.
Email and calendar are inherently personal. Cogito connects per-user so each rep sees only their own inbox, never the team's. Pre-call prep, follow-up drafts, calendar coordination, and inbox triage all happen with the right scope.

Real-time triggers
Webhooks fire the instant something changes in Google. Build workflows that react in seconds, not minutes.
New email matching a filter
Example use: When an email arrives from a domain on a watchlist, summarize it and DM the user with the suggested response.
Email starred or labeled
Example use: When the user stars an email, Cogito creates a Linear ticket from it with the email content and sender context attached.
Calendar event starting soon
Example use: 30 minutes before every external meeting, Cogito DMs the user a pre-call brief with the attendees' company context, recent emails, and any related Intercom conversations.
Calendar invitation received
Example use: When a new external meeting is proposed, Cogito drafts a response with relevant prep links and time alternatives if there is a conflict.
Common workflows
Concrete day-to-day moments where Cogito + Google earns its keep.
The 30-minute pre-call brief
You have a customer call at 2pm. At 1:30, Cogito DMs you a brief: the last three emails with the contact, the open Intercom conversations from their company, the Notion account doc your team keeps, and a one-line summary of "what changed since the last call". You walk in ready.
Draft the follow-up while the call is still warm
After a call, you ask Cogito in a DM: "draft the follow-up to the Acme call referencing the pricing flexibility we discussed and the enterprise SLA". Cogito pulls the call notes from your calendar, drafts the email in your voice, and shows it to you for approval. You edit one line and send.
Calendar coordination across time zones
Ask Cogito: 'find a 30-minute slot next week that works for Sarah at Acme and her CTO, prefer mornings their time'. Cogito reads your availability, sends a calendar proposal, and tracks the back-and-forth until the meeting is confirmed.
Star to file
You star an email. Cogito notices, asks 'create a Linear ticket from this?' in a DM. You confirm. Cogito files the ticket with the email body, the sender's company context, and a link back to the original message.
Permission granularity
You pick the OAuth scopes at connect time - more access unlocks more capability, less access keeps Cogito narrowly scoped
Per-user authorization only - no admin shortcut, by design
Personal mode only fires in private contexts (DMs, 1:1 emails, private webchats)
Send-on-behalf-of requires explicit user confirmation for each email
Read-only mode available if the user prefers no write access
Setup time

OAuth scopes / permissions
You choose which scopes to grant at connect time. Cogito's capability is bounded by exactly what you authorize. Grant read-only at first, expand later as you build trust.
- gmail.readonly, gmail.send, gmail.modify
- calendar.events
- contacts.readonly
